Verdict:
I was really curious to see how a second run inside the same game space (minor alterations notwithstanding) would feel. Overall, I think it was a bit underwhelming. 😕 As our hosts pointed out themselves, the second chapter is easier than the first. There is still a fair amount of puzzles, with decent variety, but the familiarity with the space reinforces the linearity of the gameplay. Ah well, I remain curious to see the final part, supposedly the hardest of all three.
We actually finished the game in even less time than Chapter 1, but that record performance was marred by two things. First, the very first lock we encountered wasn't properly secured, and we opened it right away. In addition, we weren't done with the side quest by the time we solved the main one, so I asked if we could just stay in and wrap it up. I'm adjusting our official time accordingly, in an attempt to stay fair. 😇

J'étais vraiment curieux à savoir comment une seconde visite dans le même espace allait se dérouler. Somme toute, je n'ai rien trouvé de mémorable. 😕 Comme nos hôtes l'ont eux-mêmes indiqué, le second chapitre est plus facile que le premier. Il y a quand même pas mal d'énigmes, relativement variées, mais le fait d'être déjà familier avec l'environnement met une certaine emphase sur la linéarité du jeu. Bon, je vais quand même avoir hâte d'essayer le dernier chapitre, supposément le plus difficile des trois.

D'abord, le tout premier cadenas rencontré était mal fermé, nous permettant de l'ouvrir tout de suite. De plus, nous avons complété l'aventure principale avant d'en avoir fini avec la quête bonus, alors j'ai demandé à ce que nous restions dans la salle assez longtemps pour tout compléter. J'ajuste notre temps officiel en conséquence, question de rester juste. 😇
